Words are magical. With words we can weave spells. Express memories. Influence others.

There is the belief that pictures are worth a thousand words. Like words, pictures can evoke memories. Trigger feelings. Have an effect on some.

I have a friend who thinks that the english language is ambiguous. He’s right. A single word can have several different meanings. He prefers numbers. With his physics and engineering educational and career backgrounds I can understand. He doesn't  understand the pleasure that comes from the arrangement of words. C’est la vie.

I don’t know who wrote the following, but edited and personalized they express my deeply held feelings that I never want to lose.

At birth we boarded the train and met our parents, and we believed they would always travel at our side. However, at some station our parents will step down from the train, leaving us on this journey alone.
As time goes by others will board the train; and they will be significant...the love of our life, family, friends, loved ones, and even beloved pets. Many will step down and leave a permanent vacuum. Others will go so unnoticed that we don't realize that they vacated their seats. This train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, farewells, and goodbyes. Success consists of having a good relationship with all passengers requiring that we give the best of ourselves.
May you have a joyful journey on the train of life. Reap success and give lots of love. Be able to say ”Thanks for everything. I had a wonderful time."
The mystery to everyone is: We do not know at which station we, ourselves, will step down. Sometimes we reach our station earlier than expected. Therefore, we must live in the best way, love, forgive, and offer the best of who we are. It is important to do this because when the time comes for us to step down and leave our seat empty we should leave behind beautiful memories for those who will continue to travel on the train of life.
But when the sun in all his state,
Illumed the eastern skies,
She passed through glory's morning gate,
And walked in Paradise.
