Lost Churches of Louisiana

This was received in one of those emails preceded by the ubiquitous "fwd" on the subject line. The punch like simply screamed out to be sent on its way again.

When devastating hurricanes struck the Gulf Coast, even houses of worship were not spared.
A local television station interviewed a woman from New Orleans and asked how the loss of churches in the area had affected their lives.

Without hesitation, the woman replied, "I don't know 'bout all those other people, but we haven't gone to Churches in years. We gets our chicken from Popeye's.

When the question was put to the good citizen of the area, one can only imagine the look on the interviewer's face face at the response.

They live among us and the vote. You still dare to wonder how the Prince of Fools got elected and quite possibly will be reelected.

No apology is offered. Had I felt a need to apologize I would not have posted in the first place. As has been said, if you don't like the program, change the damn channel.
